A Mentioning on Mondays

Mondays, the woes of everyday life. We all nestle up to our pillows sunday night and stare wide awake at the thought of the ending weekend. Yada yada yada. Actually mondays are quite swell here so I thought I'd show you a little taste of Mondays here at WIT (Waterford Institute of Technology).

6:30 a.m. The electronic beast (aka alarm) beckons me to drag myself out of bed
6:45 a.m. Bring on the coffeeeeeee
7:00-7:30 Oh ya know the girly stuff and this super comfy outfit that works well with long classes.
yay for yoga pants yo.

7:30-8:00 This is where I squeeze in a small workout and some devotional time
8:15 Breakfast in the dining hall- pretty good considering they serve the same options every single day.
9:00-11:30 This is where things get a little bumpy. World literature. Oh boy, first off...we are all completely unaware of what's due when. Secondly, every story sounds the same when you're dealing with Irish history...
11:30 LUNCHHH
1:00-3:30 art appreciation class; which is actually rather enjoyable although a little overwhelming when it comes to the vocabulary. Usually, this is where I get my doodle practice on.
3:30 Freedom
Today that free time meant a usual trip to Tessco where we stocked up on our staple goods
Lucky for me, this visit even included a grumpy old lady ringing me up - oh the fun
adorable little tessco bag, love.

On the way back, we saw the typical ice cream truck that makes its rounds...item of choice, Irish whipped ice cream. It's like ice cream on steroids. Fluffy, delicious, and addictive. Help!
Around 7, the director of the program invited us to student movie night and a drink in the student lounge. The crazy part about it, is that it's an actual bar on campus loaded with comfy chairs and a projector. I kept things light with a berry cider. Yum!

So all in all, although a bit boring, mondays aren't so bad here. They are actually rather chill. Hope I didn't put you to sleep. Another field trip tomorrow to Cork, Ireland!

My life is an path that seems to bloom with every step I take. Here I am in the midst of a new season of travel beyond my wildest imagination. Seeing the world in a fresh pair of eyes. Perhaps things might seem a little greener.
